Fungsi dan Deskripsi Rack Server

Rack Server adalah rack yang di desain khusus sebagai tempat untuk mengamankan server, peralatan network seperti Switch, Firewall, Router, KVM dan lain-lain. Rack Server juga digunakan agar jalur kabel network di dalam ruang server dapat tersusun lebih rapi.

Satuan ukuran Rack Server adalah U / RU / Rack Unit. Satuan ini digunakan sebagai ukuran standard untuk menunjukkan vertical ruang yang digunakan atau ketinggian rak (bingkai besi yang dirancang untuk tempat perangkat aktif dsb). Satuan pengukuran ini mengacu pada ruang antar rak, dimana besaran 1U adalah sama dengan 4,45 cm (1.75 inch).

Contoh. Gambar ukuran U / RU / Rack Unit = 1U, 2U, 3U dan 4U.

ABBA-RACK cages provide security enhanced for data center environments, which is designed according customer needs.

ABBA-RACK cages system provide a method of segregating customer racks and equipment into defined zones, providing a high level security for equipment which is contains multiple user. With the increasing need to provide a secure method of housing equipment within a co-location data center environment, ABBA-RACK Cages system can provide and install with the customized design. Manufactured from 1.6mm thickness zinc with powder coated finished, standard sized components are offered to achieve cage heights of 2400mm or 3000mm. Other standard inclusions consist of a sliding or hinged door fitted with a customer supplied locking mechanism. ABBA-RACK cages system can be customized to suit the requirements of data center.
